Everyone deserves to feel healthy and live a thriving life. If you've been struggling and are ready to do something about it, I'm here to help you figure out a way to make it better.  My intention is to provide you with a safe place and guidance to navigate life challenges, heal from emotional pain, grow, and explore and accept your authentic self.

My clinical training began at the University of Wyoming where I earned my Master in Social Work. I have since received specialized training in trauma informed clinical practice, co-occurring mental health and developmental disabilities, and I am a Registered Play Therapist - Supervisor and Certified Synergetic Play Therapist. My background includes work with children, adolescents, adults, and families in several outpatient settings. I approach therapy from a strengths and relational perspective and will help you foster confidence, attune to yourself, and gain skills to manage your own struggles in the future.

I founded Aspen Therapy Collective with the intention of increasing positive mental health supports in our community and growing the child and adolescent mental health workforce. Our practice is centered upon relationships and growth journeys. We are honored to be a part of this experience with you.

I grew up in Wisconsin (yes, I’m a Cheesehead), and fell in love with the wide open spaces of Colorado. When I’m not working, you will find me enjoying time with my family, hiking, and reading about far away worlds.

My hope is to create an environment where you feel safe and empowered to overcome obstacles, heal, and flourish. I am passionate about helping you see your worth and recognize your potential, all while navigating life’s most challenging circumstances.

I am a Clinical Social Work Candidate after receiving my Masters in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of settings and with a variety of challenges. I have a child centered play therapy certificate with a neurorelational emphasis. I believe in utilizing a person-centered approach that highlights strengths and encourages my clients to move towards positive change.

My free time is spent exploring this beautiful state with my husband and pup, cozying up with a good book, or hosting out of town family and friends. I grew up in small town Indiana but have loved making Colorado home.

Change can be painful, but you are not crumbling. You are simply building into something different, and just as deserving of love and healing as before. Whatever your process looks like, I aim to create a safe and empowering space where you can untangle your story and practice what you need in your world.

I began my clinical work with children and adolescents at the University of Indianapolis while I earned my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counseling Candidate, I am passionate about working with those who struggle with low self esteem, social phobia, traumatic experiences, and self-harm. It is a heartwarming experience to witness each client’s progress, whether it is making their first friend at a new school, experience a night’s rest without nightmares, or finding one reason for hope. Before coming to Aspen, I provided mental health to children in Colorado schools. I focus on movement, art, and play-based interventions integrated in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and somatic based practices.

No matter our identity, we all deserve a space in which we can be our authentic selves in which we belong. Belonging is the center of all I do - regardless of your background, identity, or what you are experiencing, I strive to create a space in which you can truly be you as you navigate the ups and downs of life.

My Social Work education began in Michigan, where I received my BSW from Calvin University and MSW from Michigan State University. I am now a Clinical Social Work Candidate and Social Work PhD student based in Colorado. For years, I have worked with children, teens, and young adults, especially in athletic settings. My practice is strengths-based and centered around empowering you to live into your strengths and be your best self.

I am a proud Michigander and now enjoy the great state of Colorado. Away from work, I am an avid triathlete, coach, and lover of the beautiful world around us!

I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. During my time at Regis, I also completed the Counseling Children and Adolescents Certificate. Through my practicum and internship experiences, I have gained clinical experience working with adults, families, and children. As a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC), I am dedicated to helping families thrive as a whole by utilizing a systemic approach. My approach to supporting clients is also client-centered and strengths-based. Prior to becoming an MFTC, I worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings, including preschools and within the legal system.

Outside of my time at ATC, I enjoy hiking with my husband and dog, skiing, and reading. I grew up in Milwaukee, WI and have since lived in San Francisco, CA and New Zealand. I have loved calling Colorado home for the past four years!
